Yoga & Meditation

When you start to manage your own life, you’ll stop expecting it to be fulfilled by others. And that in itself becomes a more liberating life. Let go of expectations and demands.

Does this sound like you?

Is there something that you would like a fresh start on? For example, relationships, jobs, self-care, fitness, health, holiday, and the list goes on.

If you are a lifelong learner who relishes developing an open mind, a positive attitude about the dynamic nature of the world and ourselves, Yoga and meditation will resonate with you.

Our growth is a gradual process that must be nurtured daily. This includes each time we step onto our Yoga mat.  We go inwards to understand ourselves.

Do you feel that sometimes technology is ruling your life?

Our hearts maintain a rhythm that allows our bodies to function just like a hard drive in a computer is required to send information from one location to the next.

Our third eye point is similar to a WiFi signal, sending out signals to maintain a connection with the universe.

Take the time and sit in your spiritual practice and listen to your own inner voice.

We can make a fresh start by how we think.

Change your thoughts, and you change your world.

Kundalini yoga

Kundalini Yoga

Kundalini Yoga is uplifting, and it is a blend of spiritual and physical practices. We breathe, chant, dance, laugh loud, sweat gracefully, and even cry as emotional blocks are released from the body.

Who’s it for?

Kundalini Yoga is a practice for all bodies, levels, and experiences alike. Choose any class and be confident that you will be taken care of. From complete beginners to experienced yogis, everyone is welcome to attend any class on our schedule. Jenny will modify exercises to suit your bodily limitations, and you can always move at your own pace.

It’s for people seeking to shake up their lives and connect deeply with themselves.

What will I learn?

Classes vary greatly depending on what kriya the teacher decides to teach, but each class includes warm-ups, breathing techniques (pranayama), an exercise set (kriya), deep relaxation, chanting, and meditation.

The best way to experience Kundalini Yoga is to experience it for yourself. If you can breathe and lean to the left or right direction, you’ll experience benefits. The teachers can modify the exercises for different bodily requirements. You will move and breathe at your own pace.

There may be a focus one week on a particular area of the body, but because there are thousands of different Kundalini Yoga and Meditation practices, it will be different the next time. Certain postures and movements may be repeated, however, there is also variety.

What does it help with?

It’s meditative. It’s spiritual. Its goal is to build physical vitality and increase consciousness. Experience yourself deeply and notice a transformation towards physical strength, heightened awareness, mental clarity, and happiness.

How do I prepare?

You should wear comfortable loose clothes for the session, and please do not consume food or alcohol for at least 2 hours before session.

Kundalini chair yoga

Kundalini Chair Yoga

Have you ever wanted to try Yoga and meditation but weren’t keen on getting on the floor? Then chair Yoga may be the right choice for you.

Classes are open to both men and women and have no age limit.

Kundalini Chair Yoga is one of the gentlest forms of Yoga available.

Who’s it for?

Kundalini Chair Yoga classes are for everyone. It is an uplifting, modified form of traditional Yoga suitable for people with limited mobility, lack of flexibility, a problem with joints or recovering from injury or illness.

Those with disabilities, weight challenges, inflexibility, or who just cannot get on the floor for whatever reason can benefit from a daily practice of Yoga on a chair.

What will I learn?

This approach uses the support and safety of a chair to adapt Yoga positions. Emphasis will be on breathing, balance, and finding your own pace. All poses are performed seated or standing, using a chair as support.

What does it help with?

The chair replaces the Yoga mat and becomes an extension of your body, allowing you to take full advantage of Yoga’s amazing fitness and health potential.

It’s a great way to gain flexibility, ease pain, get fit and enjoy an accessible version of Yoga. You do what’s comfortable for you with fun and enjoyment.

How do I prepare?

Meditation Gong Therapy

Meditation Gong Therapy

Gong meditation is a very ancient technique from Asia, a complete sound bath that produces an amazing sense of wellbeing through the vibration of all the water within the body; our bodies are 80% water.

Gong Therapy Meditations are based on the principles that every living organism, thought and feeling eminent a sound frequency. This includes our physical body, our thoughts, feelings and emotions.

Who’s it for?

The Gong Therapy sessions can be individually tailored to your requirements and schedule. Simply book an appointment to work on an area you would like to nurture. Then allow yourself to immerse into the sounds and vibrations of the gongs fully.

Give yourself the gift of healing sound vibrations, allowing the body and mind to deeply relax as you flow with the different sounds around you.

What will I learn?

Gong Therapy meditations are a great stress reliever. As you relax into the present moment and settle into stillness, all stress melts away.

Allow your mind, body and soul to indulge in a full-body sound bath to achieve an enhanced sense of wellness, release blocked emotions and feel more balanced in your own being. This is a unique journey like no other. A time to move into deep inner stillness and connection.

What does it help with?

When an emotion or a part of our physical self is out of alignment with its healthy frequency, it can show up in our body as pain or disease and possibly overly negative or unbalanced thoughts and emotions.

Your senses will be guided to travel with the high frequencies of the gongs and other instruments such as shakers, drums, singing bowls, wind chimes and tuning forks while your body remains in a state of complete relaxation.

How do I prepare?

You should wear comfortable loose clothes for the session, and please do not consume food or alcohol for at least 2 hours before session.

When the Gong Therapy session is complete, there will be time to integrate by resting in silence.

Yoga Nidra and Sound Immersion

Get ready for a profound experience. Yoga Nidra and Sound Immersion enable transformation through a state of deep relaxation.

Yoga Nidra is also known as ‘yogic sleep’ or “effortless relaxation”. It can be described as the conscious state between wakefulness and sleep, allowing deep relaxation and a sense of wellbeing through awareness and the welcoming of all that is present.

iRest Meditation iRest®: Integrative Restoration Yoga Nidra for Deep Relaxation utilises a variety of techniques to evoke your relaxation response, leading to an increase in your body’s ability to stay resilient in the face of challenging circumstances.

Who’s it for?

Think of Yoga Nidra as a filing system for your mind that guides you through an experience of your body, breath and any feelings, emotions, or beliefs that may be present. It then gently leads you into deeper states of mindful awareness and stillness.

What will I learn?

You’ll be guided through a blissful Yoga Nidra (yogic sleep); guided meditation done laying down that brings us into a deeper state of self-awareness. Throughout the session, you will hear various chimes to enhance the deep meditative state. Closing with a healing gong and singing bowls, chimes sound-bath to take in what you need and let go of what you do not.

What does it help with?

Compared with pre-meditation, following the sound meditation, participants reported significantly less tension, anger, fatigue, and depressed mood. In addition, the feeling of spiritual wellbeing significantly increased across all participants.

Tibetan singing bowl meditation may be a low-cost, low intervention for reducing feelings of tension, anxiety, and depression and increasing spiritual wellbeing.

This ancient meditation technique enables you to enter subtle realms of consciousness and reshape your life and your health. Yoga Nidra is one of the most profound yet simple techniques for accelerating physical and emotional healing.
